那英文里應該怎麼說？

是 the other day 還是 another day 呢？

還是 「change another day」 ？

如果你今天沒空，想說改天，就可以說：

How about another day？

「改天」其實還有個特別的俚語表達， take a rain check，這個短語是來自美國的棒球文化，如果棒球比賽中因惡劣天氣而不得不終止，官方將會給觀眾發一張rain check，憑這張券就可以觀看下一次的比賽。

所以 take a rain check，也就有了改天的意思。

the other day≠改天

the other day = not long ago，意思是 幾天前、不久以前。而another day意思是 改天、又一天、新的一天。

活到明天就可以說live to see / fight another day。

The other day， he cut the grass on his samll lawn.

幾天前，他才修理完院子里的草坪。

white day≠白天

white day 才不是白天的意思呢？實際上 white day = White Valentine s Day，是 白[色.情]人節的縮寫。還可以表示 良辰吉日，white 是 幸福的、吉利的意思。

白天正確的表達方式是 by day，夜里就是 by night。要注意，加了 the 意思就變了！by the day 是 按天計算，隨著時間的意思。

They chose a white day to marry their daughter to Tom.

今天幾號怎麼說？

What day is it today？和 What s the date today？這兩個問日子的問法，大家要注意區分哦！

What day is it today？是問 今天是周幾，day 前面是沒有the；而 What s the date today？ 是問今天幾號，date 前面一定要加 the 哦！

如果問 今天是什麼節日就可以說：What holiday is it today？

What day is it today？ Today is Monday.

今天是星期幾？周一。

What is the date today ？ lt s 10th June.

今天是幾號呀？6月10號。
