差不多的數據英語應該怎麼表達呢？

「30多」 別用 more than

more 是多

但 more than twenty 可不是二十多！

這樣的表達是在強調

不止30（可能是40，50，80…）

意思差老遠了

所以如果對三十多歲的女生說：more than thirty

是很可能會被打的

正確的是

thirty something

something表示不明確的「幾」

類似的表達還有

thirty something percent

百分之三十幾吧

one hundred something people

一百來號人吧

當基數詞表示不確切數字，如成百、成千上萬，三三兩兩時，基數詞則以復數形式出現。

好幾百的 = hundreds of

好幾百塊 = hundreds of yuan
